Ali Green
The Revd Dr Ali Green is the author of A Theology of Women’s Priesthood (SPCK 2009). Ali first trained and worked as a teacher before becoming co-founder and director of an ecological consultancy. She has spent many years in ministry in parishes in England and Wales, as a lay leader, Reader, deacon and, latterly, as a priest. She worked for several years as a chaplain and lecturer in a male prison, and is currently a priest in the diocese of Monmouth. Her PhD in theology was awarded by Roehampton University. She is the Wales representative for the Ecumenical Forum of European Christian Women. She has been married for thirty years and is a mother and grandmother. Her most recent book for SPCK is A Priesthood of Both Sexes, published in June 2011.
