Eric Liddell
Eric Liddell, the most popular athlete Scotland has ever produced, was portrayed in the film Chariots of Fire. He served as a missionary in China from 1925 until his untimely death in 1945. His book The Disciplines of the Christian Life, first published in 1985, was reissued by SPCK in its Classics series in 2009.
