John Norman

john_normanAfter university, John Norman worked in organ building for 20 years. Since leaving commercial organ building he has advised the Diocese of London on organs for the past 29 years and has served two 5-year terms as a member of the Cathedrals Fabric Commission for England. He is a Fellow of the Incorporated Society of Organbuilders, a Fellow and Pastpresident of the Institute of Musical Instrument Technology, and an accredited Member of the Association of Independent Organ Advisers.

Current consultancy projects include a new organ for the church of St Mary-le-Bow (Bow Bells) in the City of London and the restoration of the 1795 William Gray organ in St Swithun’s Church, Worcester. John’s website is: www.jnorman.me.uk
