Kenneth Hylson-Smith
Kenneth Hylson-Smith is the author of The Laity in Christian History and Today (SPCK, 2008). Dr Hylson-Smith is a former Bursar and Fellow of St Cross College, Oxford, and has written ten other acclaimed books on church history, including the three-volume works The Churches in England from Elizabeth I to Elizabeth II (SCM Press, 1996, 1997, 1998) and Christianity in England from Roman Times to the Reformation (SCM Press, 1999, 2000, 2001) and To the Ends of the Earth: The globalization of Christianity (Paternoster Press, 2007).
