Louise J. Lawrence
Dr Louise J. Lawrence is the author of The Word in Place: Reading the New Testament in contemporary contexts (SPCK, 2009). Louise is Lecturer in New Testament Studies and SWMTC Research Fellow at the University of Exeter. She is author of An Ethnography of the Gospel of Matthew (Mohr Siebeck, 2003), Reading with Anthropology: Exhibiting aspects of New Testament religion (Paternoster, 2005) and co-editor with Mario Aguilar of Anthropology and Biblical Studies: Avenues of approach (Deo, 2004).
