Malcolm Brown
The Revd Dr Malcolm Brown is Director of Mission and Public Affairs for the Church of England. He was previously the Principal of the Eastern Region Ministry Course within the Cambridge Theological Federation.
He has taught ethics for the Cambridge Federation’s MA in Pastoral Theology (Anglia Ruskin University) and undergraduate ethics for the University of Wales Bangor and the Cambridge Federation. His main research interests are the dialogue between Christian ethics and economics, the significance of ‘place’ in practical theology and the development of new ground rules for public theology.
He is the author of Tensions in Christian Ethics: An Introduction (SPCK 2010). His other books include: After the Market: Economics, Moral Agreement and the Churches’ Mission; Faith in Suburbia: Completing the Contextual Trilogy; and, with Paul Ballard, The Church and Economic Life – A Documentary Study: 1945 to the Present.
