Paula Gooder
Paula Gooder is the author of Searching for Meaning: An introduction to interpreting the New Testament (SPCK, 2008). A member of SPCK’s governing body, Paula was a lecturer in biblical studies at Ripon College Cuddesdon, and then at the Queen’s Foundation for Ecumenical Theological Studies, before becoming a freelance writer and lecturer.
She is a visiting lecturer at King’s College London, an honorary lecturer at the University of Birmingham, a senior research scholar at the Queen’s Foundation, Birmingham, and Canon Theologian of Birmingham Cathedral.
Her previous books include Only the Third Heaven? 2 Corinthians 12.1–10 and Heavenly Ascent (T&T Clark, 2006) and Exploring New Testament Greek: A way in (co-authored with Peter Kevern, SCM Press, 2004).
