Stuart Buchanan
Stuart Buchanan is a licensed Reader in the Anglican Diocese of Southwark and the author of Called by God? (SPCK 2008) and On Call (BRF, 2001). After working in mission in inner city Britain and rural Kenya, Stuart worked for nearly 30 years for the Church Mission Society encouraging, nurturing and testing vocation for mission service.
For the last 15 years he has been involved in training interviewers for a number of different mission agencies as well as training those who select clergy. This work has taken him not only to the UK and Ireland but also to Nigeria, Kenya, Singapore and Korea. Stuart then worked in the Mission and Evangelism Department of the Anglican Communion Office researching and preparing material for the 2008 Lambeth Conference and as a freelance consultant and trainer.
