‘Daily Prayers for the People of God’ draws on the Bible, particularly the Psalms, the liturgy, the Fathers of the Church, Anglican, Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and Celtic traditions of prayer. It offers prayers and reflections for morning and evening, for four weeks. Prayers have been selected to accord with the particular character of each day, whether Sunday as the day of the Lord’s Resurrection and the Eucharist, or Monday as the beginning of the week’s work.
