Our lives are punctuated by special situations, life-changing events, and particular moments of signif-icance. As we travel on the journey of life we find cause to celebrate, to stop or reflect. Sometimes we need help and support, sometimes we struggle, or are alone, and sometimes we join with a community. Here is a book of liturgies written for different sit-uations and different people. These liturgies provide suggestions for a ritual marking of those particular moments of our lives. They come from many places and celebrate many different circumstances. ‘Liturgy has a life of its own if we will set it free among the people as they walk their way on the journey of life. When it comes in spirit and in truth it will be owned and recognised and used for the enhancing of life.’
