‘Prayers for Today’ is a collection of 200 prayers which deal with matters of common experience. It is divided into three sections. The first is primarily concerned with personal life: ourselves, the daily round, our families, our physical and emotional needs. The second section is occupied with the Christian pilgrimage, worship and discipleship. In the final section, ‘The World We Live In’, a wider range of subjects is explores. Here the prayers are less personal, and suitable for use in church or group worship.
